Oh man- this one is big!  I remember when I was ‘coming around’ for the third time, having broken Michelle’s heart twice in the past.  I was all flirty and she was resisting, then one day she absolutely COLLARED me and said, very angrily, “WHAT DO YOU WANT?”  I hummed and hawed and didn’t have an answer.  Because I didn’t know what I wanted. I was such a douchebag.  Trying to win a girl’s heart, but not even knowing what for!

So I went home and thought and prayed about it for a few weeks.  Then I came back to her and said, “I want to be a humble Christ-follower, a best-selling author, and I want to marry you.”

She said “Alright then.”  The rest is history.

Know what you want.

“Guys need to know something about women worth being with:

They don’t care how ‘manly’ or how ’sexy’ or how ‘pimp’ (or whatever the kids are saying nowadays) a guy is .

I think that what attracts me to someone is how they stick to their beliefs and want to share them with other people.”
